The top section of my skirt is a separate piece resembling a 'sun'. The semi circle piece has to be sewn in connecting both sections. I find sewing this piece quite difficult as the corners are quite fidely to match up but once notches are added in and i get control of the machine at a slow pace I managed to match it up correctly.

| My first attempt at the curved seam wasn't very successful as the pieces didn't match up exactly so i unpicked it and restarted. |
