Fashion in the 1650s was a lot more formal and consisted of the men wearing coats, waistcoats and breeches, and the women wore long waitedbodists with long draped skirts.
I found this photo online under 'European fashion 1650' this photo portrays what fashion was like during this era and I really like how their dresses were off the shoulder kind of like what we wear today.
