70S/80S FASHION INSPIRATION

I have picked out a few of my anties photographs of her, my uncles and my mum in the late 70s early 80s and are using them for inspiration. i like these years in particular because i feel garments were very colourful, and classy and interesting.

This photo of my auntie, uncle and his sister gives me inspiration on colours and patterns as the 80s was very out there and vibrant, which appeals to me as i find it fun and makes an out fit look interesting. 

The 80s brought big hair bold colours and glasses, which i think looked amazing i really gave the 80s there own iconic statement pieces.  

This photo was taken in the late 70s, my family here are sporting nutral colours, fur and knee length garments. i love this style as its classy, and feminim. 

My mum here is in the late 80s, sporting a white two piece and chunky knit.

I really love my aunties suit here as  the bold panel colours and black and red contrast really stands out and looking very unique and interesting. 

This is a photo of my uncle in the 70s, I've chosen this as a photo of inspiartion as the curtains in the back show the popular floral design often owned by people in the 70s. i feel this pattern could be changed up to be made more modern with the modification of size and colour and could be used in interesting ways on garments.
